Advice on asking my trainer where I work out as a friend?

I did ask him out before and he said he would love to go out to lunch or whateve with me, and he used even flirt with me non stop when I joined the gym, now it's like he shows for me to lay off, I just want to be friends

You can't push a guy to the just do it.If you were told by the guy in a very polite manner that only friendship is an option, is because something took place between you and him and his mind has changed for good.Think about reality and let the dreams at the work place entrance.You can't force someone. Period.Take it or leave it. I'm sorry for the harsh explanation, but, you must understand about the matter.
