I have a very friendly guy thats kind of cute. His locker is located right next to mine!!! We say " hi what did you think of class, do you have homework " that kind of talk. I want to see how far he wants to go with our friendship and move on to going out. But yousee the catch is I don't really want to go up to him and ask that. So please answer the next questions. Please. Should I be the one to drop the hints??? Should I tell one of his friends and ask if he likes me??? Tell personally??? If I shouldn't drop the hints how long should I wait for him to ??? SORRY THIS WAS A LONG QUESTION

keep being friendly and maybe ask what team he likes (if you know sports). but something along that line to keeps the conversation flowing. That might be a good starting place anyway.

Maybe he is really shy. I would not give or drops hints.
No, you can ask him if he would like to join you or a soda
or something, if there is a place like that around the school.
Maybe, if it okay with your parents, tell him you need help
with your homework...could he come over?
Or if that does not work, just tell him, you find him interesting, fun and ask him out.
Why not, seems like a nice guy, and you do too.
You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
