Life is short enough, you do not want to make it shorter. There is a chance you can get in a car accident tomorrow and die, there is a chance you can get cancer at 20 (as a friend of mine did) and struggle for your life for years)....do I really have to go on?
One thing I find extremely sad in the US culture is the fact that we are willing to spend tons of money to go through all sorts of surgeries, medication regimens, etc. to look better even though the majority of it is unnecessary if people would realize that the beauty you see in someone when you walk past them is superficial...you can be the most beautiful person in the world and be completely selfish and mean and have no friends because of your attitude. What counts is your attitude and who you are on the inside. If people do not immediately like you just because of the way you look they are not worth spending time on. The people who take the time to get to know you ARE WORTH IT. Do not change yourself for others. It matters who you are on the inside not on the outside.
Other than reconstructive surgeries the money spent for many plastic surgeries, diet pills, etc. would be better spent helping the people that are starving all over the world, including in our own country.
Good luck...and I hope you do not take this as a mean assessment...it is the truth though...one that many people come to learn with time.

No Way. Id rather be a ugly duckling then die before my natrual time lol.
Vanity will only get you so far its not EVERYTHING in life. Well atleast it isnt to me. Plus to boot even after someone got work done to look better does not mean that you or anyone would good to other ppl then yourself and friends.
You ever hear the sayin "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder" It is true.

"attractive" is totally subjective, what may be "attractive" to one, could be totally disgusting to another. As I happen to like who and what I am, and don't really care what anyone else thinks of my appearance, no, I'd not give up one moment of life to attain such a will-o-the-wisp.
