Go to the 3:30 mark and they show a picture from the 2001 Pepsi 400 where the ghost of dale sr's car is behind dale jr's car. I know this question is kinda stupid, but was that ghost real? I mean did the people in the grandstands and the people watching the race on TV see this ghost? I want to know if it's real or not. If it is real, then that is just really scary!

Thanks that video was cool but no it wasn't real. They were just implementing that Sr. is there in spirit not taking a picture of his actual ghost car. ha ha silly.

I watched it before I read the question. I was wondering the same thing. But no. They were simply impling that Dale Earnhardt Sr. is with Junior giving him a draft in spirit.

Like Lou Lou said ,it's not real. They photoshopped it . My b/f has the picture. The caption says "Some say the race was a set up ,I believe he had some drafting help from an "old friend".
This was when Jr won the Pepsi 400 the same year that Sr lost his life .People felt that Nascar set it up all due to Sr's death.

No its not real,somebody edited that pictuer . it is just there because Jr passed Benson on the outside by himself, and it just saying he had a little help from above! That is cool though.

It's not real. The picture was edited with that "Ghost" imgae in the background. You can do it pretty easy with Photoshop. Great effects though.

No it wasn't it is really just showing that his dad is always with him no matter what. To keep him safe and from any harm. Plus that's where Dale Sr died on that track.
