Here's my story...

I'm from Seattle and I dated a guy that lived in Portland for almost 2 years. We loved each other very much and after much of the long distance hardship, we decided together to make a move to a new place... Los Angeles. I ended up getting a job and moving before he did. We both realized it would be rough until he could get his business together to move. Nonetheless, he still came and visited every few weeks. Although things were rough with the move... out of the blue he decided to break up with me... for reasons that made no sense to me. How does someone who's been abandoned in a new city (LA) cope with this?

A little about me: I'm 25, in LA now, recently got dumped, moved here for a relationship we both agreed on moving to...

A little about him: He's 34, has had commitment issues in the past (my opinion purely), had agreed to a move to LA, broke up with me for mixed reasons (communication, other stress w/ work, life, etc)

Lost and confused. Help?!

You don't have to stay there. Move back if you want. If not, just get aout there and explore.

Time is the best healer in matters of the hart.Let it go.You;re in LA.Look around and you will get a lot of guys perhaps much better that the last one.Is over.Long distance relationships are a fiasco big time.Distance is the worse enemy. The reason is simple: no con tact,no touching, not visual contact.Nothing.Relationships, are the opposite. So, think about it,look around and make some friends and be happy.
