Minnesota residents have pretty much the same accent (without the eh ?) as Canadians.

Northwestern US, but not Washington so much.
In French, a Belgian accent sounds a bit like a Quebec accent.
Newfoundland accents sound a bit Irish.

Northern USA
I have heard the Ontario accent in Michigan, the classic Saskatchewan in North Dakota... Its more regional then limited by country.

Also, British or other satellite countries (South Africa, Australia) can sound similar.
