Only tourists are there most pple watch it from the comfort and warmth of their living room on the tv!

Like walking into a stampede of horses. it looks fun on TV, but if you go, prepare to stand in the exact same spot, no sitting, for up to 7 hours.

Crowded.

Whereever you stand, that's where you're stuck. Don't plan to pee or get anything to eat or drink for hours. It'll take you forever to get anywhere in the crowd, and you'll NEVER get a good spot back.

i sugggest to meet someone that works for a surrounding hotel so you can watch the ball drop from a room.

Well, it's REALLY crowded, extremely noisy, there's a -ah, "interesting smell", in the air... -and by 11:59PM, you REALLY need to go to the bathroom... :)

standing out in the cold for hrs and hrs and hrs, and you need a very very very large bladder, maybe that's why there's no beer there.
