Can you prove that only ONE god exists, and only ONE god created all there is? There are many different versions of the creation story, and all have adherents that believe they are true, yours is no exception. If you can't prove that YOUR specific god created all there is without the help of any of the other gods that also claim being a part of the creation process, then can you really say that the others are wrong?

Is that being honest? Or are you really just hoping that your religion isn't just speculation?

Quoting the bible doesn't help here, as anyone with a zeal for learning can find out how the bible was assembled and realize that the christian theology is based on the VOTE of people long deceased.

Now, the question is, is there any proof that YOUR god created all there is, and not someone else's god(s) that did it? If you can't prove it, when you tell someone you have the truth, aren't you really just passing off speculation?

Of course no one can prove it. These seems more like "Reasoning: Part 1" than Part 19. ;)

I happen to follow one particular God. Does that mean that no other Gods exist? There are people who follow them ... and to say that their personal experiences with their deities are false or a lie would be to basically discredit those experiences, and how can I do that?

I don't personally follow or worship any other Gods/Goddesses, and I don't particularly believe in them, but can I say that I know for a fact they aren't out there? No, I can't.

But then again, I'm not big on trying to convert people or tell them that their faith is wrong, either.

Pray tell how do you expect a mere human to prove that their God is real? If anyone was able to do that, all would believe.

Jesus performed miracles during his ministry and that is why many believed. He created a foundation for the future ministry. We tell the same things that he did, yet people don't believe because we don't have the miracles.

At this point in time and after such a long list of witnesses, salvation is based on faith with works. It's like going to the Casino. You drop in a couple of coins because you believe you can win. It's all a matter of timing, when the jackpot decides to pop! If you persist, you will eventually hit the jackpot!

Can you prove that there is no God scientifically? No because God is a spiritual being not of this physical world. I believe by faith not a blind faith but a practical one.

Satan is the father of lies and deceptions. There is only one truth all the other means are distortions of the truth or works of God's opposite.

Beyond this physical world there is a battle raging on for our souls. This is a spiritual battle and many of those involved are injured and cannot see the big pictures.

The bible is inspired by God for us to learn about the mysterious beyond what we see.

"One thing you might have noticed on this site, is that religious people rarely change their mind." One thing you might have noticed on this site, is that atheist people are equally if not more stubborn. "They will deny mountains of documented evidence, if it doesn't sit well with their preconceived ideas." As do atheists ...They just come out with some stupid comment like: 'but god made the elements'. It just goes over their heads... God not just made the elements, He made the processes that allow the elements to form into the things we see. Do you ever wonder why the processes even exist if there was absolutely nothing in the beggining? "It's simple really, they just 'want' it to be true" We dont need to "want to" fact is it is true, independent of us, independent of people. "When science and nature shows them they are nothing but a tiny pointless speck" If you wanna have low self-esteem about yourself then you go right ahead and do so, but I wont be joining you; I'll stick with God and having high self-esteem "carbon, that was just lucky enough to be on a planet with a temperature high enough for liquid water." Your own statement here should indicate that randomness or "luck" as you put it makes no sense; go ask a mathmatician about what the chances are of this "luck" happening and you'll find that the idea of randomness is complete none-sense,rubbish, and gibberish. "You can see their eyes glaze over, and you can tell if" I can see your mind racing, blood boiling and ears steaming at actually exploring what I've said and having to find out how wrong you are.

Proving the existence of the Christian God cannot be done. It is by design a personal quest which requires faith.

There is one of each number in maths isn't there?

Are there two numbers for one concept?

No.

Can we as humans even assign two numbers to one concept? Why not?

Are any two things the exact replica of each other? Why is Oneness such a prevalent thing?
---

Note: the above mentioned questions require a deep thinking mode that might give you headaches. or might not.

An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign” (Matt. 12:39)

The wicked are prone to “demand signs as a condition of belief” and that they “live by sensations,” whereas “disciples … walk and ‘overcome by faith’, accepting gratefully the evidence of things not seen which are true (see Heb. 11:1) and using quietly God’s spiritual gifts”

“I have come to know that the witness does not come by seeking after signs. It comes through fasting and prayer, through activity and testing and obedience. It comes through sustaining the servants of the Lord and following them.

There can only be one God.
If you have two, there would have been so much arguing that nothing would have been created at all.
No two beings could agree on something (a creation) as magnificent as what is out in all of space all the way down to something as complex as a DNA strand.
It had to be a solo project.

First off, you'd have to understand that faith is belief without proof. Until you comprehend that, there's no point to this question.

the proof lies to those who have not the eyes to see or ears to hear the truth.
