THE LORD GOD revelation to a visionary Vassula Ryden said A little thought of ME is like a million songs. Likewise, around the throne of THE LORD GOD are twenty four elders-these are the 12 patriarchs of Israel and the 12 disciples of THE LORD JESUS CHRIST and they held each a harp; and also as writen in the Book of Revelation, those who were victorious against the beast held harps given them by THE LORD GOD. And in my case, in one of my dreams revelations for the last 27 years, I went to heaven, and we were taught the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. And because of this, one of the symbolisms of my Bible study called HARPISTS BIBLE STUDY is A HARP. Thus. a harp symbolizes songs for THE LORD GOD. THANK GOD; FEAR GOD; PRAISE GOD; GLORIFY GOD; HONOR GOD; LOVE GOD AND WORSHIP GOD.

Yes I believe music can connect you with God. Lot's of different art forms I believe can. I write songs too, always have. i started writing when i was 8 years old, for me it was a way of dealing with emotions. Music saved my life, because in my teen years it was all I had to keep me going through the hard times. I would listen to my favorite songs and be uplifted and it made my life worthwhile. But it was of course God who saved my life, he's the one who lets music exist. Music is amazing. for you, listen to God and listen to what he tells you, however that comes across. if you think you should learn an instrument do it when you feel the time is right or buy one, maybe you could also go into the music industry as a songwriter/lyricist writing for other people? So many singers out there depend on other songwriters so this may be for you. Try and connect with other musicians or people interested in the same music. Good luck, God will be with you!

Without a doubt yes He does. We're told to praise Him with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. I'm a worship leader in our church and I feel honoured to be able to lead people in giving praise to God.

the whole book of Psalms are songs with even some notations for music. They reference all kinds of instruments and encourage singing praises to God.

Psalms is an entire book of songs and poems. He wouldn't have blessed some of us with the gift of music if he didn't enjoy it or if he didn't think we would use it to help spread the message of his grace.

Personally, I can't say whether or not God likes music, but it is clear that He wants us to use what we have to edify [praise] Him and for the greater good of all mankind.
