Hands and feet have a lot of sweat glands and neither should be covered. It causes moisture and promotes the growth of fungus and odor. The USA is the worst country in the world when it comes to the acceptance of bare feet in public places. A lot of health problems would disappear if we never wore shoes or gloves.

Gloves are mainly for cold weather, but a couple generations ago, women wore gloves in the summer time as a fashion accessory. Some wear gloves to protect their hands from sun exposure to keep them lily white and free of age spots.

Style, fashion, fetish, just for the hell of it...
It's summer time and I've been wearing gloves non-stop. I do have a bit of a fetish, but I love gloves. I feel a certain amount of style and sophistocation wearing them. If I'm wearing leather gloves, it gives me a sense of dominance and power >:D Never go anywhere without them.

Right now it is not in fashion...maybe for a prom or something, or a wedding, but nothing else.
