Let her be part of the decorating process of her
bed. Let her pick out the sheets, pillow cases,
and blankets. Let her choose a pillow that she likes and if the head board comes with the bed
put her name on the head board. Hang a canopy
over the bed with curtains hanging down so she
can make believe she is in a bed for a princess.
Make her room fun and she should get over her
reluctance to change.

my son had the same problem, I used the gate, and after he would fall asleep on the floor, I would go in and put him in his bed, after a couple weeks, he started getting in his bed to sleep. I dont' 'know if he discovered it was more comfortable, or if he just gave up and realized that this is where he ends up anyway!
Also, I don't think you should go to the extent of putting the crib back up. What harm is it doing her to sleep on the floor? she is in her room, and my rule has always been, that as long as the kids sleep in their rooms and are safe, who cares! I've learned to pick my battles when it comes to bedtime, it's not worth getting the child more worked up by forcing them to sleep in their bed, because then it just takes longer to fall asleep.
Best wishes!

Tell her the pillow and blankets can only be used when she's in her bed - NOT on the floor!!!
You need to let her know who's the boss; YOU not her!
Buy her a new stuffed animal that she can only have when she sleeps in her bed.

Just stand at the door for a few nights..Everytime she get's out of bed, put her back..This will go on for some time, but it will train her to stay put...I usually did not put he kids in beds until they were climbing out of their cribs..

When she falls to sleep in her crib take her out while she is still sleeping and [place her in her bed. This way she will never notice and her fear of leaving the crib will diminish.

We had the same problem with our daughter, Her farther and I used to take turns a lay down next to her in her bed. Believe it or not those beds are pretty sturdy. It took us about 1 month, now she will go to sleep herself when she's tired.

covert the toddler bed back to the crib, if possible. She may not be ready for the change.
