There is a waiver for everything when it comes to joining the military. I suggest you go and talk to a recruiter. You can here what they have to say and then decide if it's for you and your three kids, becuse believe me they will be joining also because this will affect them.

You would have to be able to demonstrate a plan for the care and welfare of your three children where your presence is not required. Do you have a family member who is able to become the legal guardian for your children? How does your Husband feel about your intention to join the Army? You do realize that there's no guarantee you will be deployed to a duty station anywhere near your husband?

The only advice I can give you, is the same things that other people have said....With your husband serving in the military, and having 3 children at home, it would be a better choice for you to take care of your children while your husband serves and fights for yours and your children's freedom..With two parents serving in the Armed Forces, it would be very tough on your children to have both parents in the military, you may both be called to serve in Iraq, and your children would be staying with whoever you choose to care take for them while your both gone..Best choice would be..If you wanna do your part for your country...Simply show your support for the Men and Women in Uniform, and raise your kids to grow up as good standing citizens and perhaps they will follow in their dad's footsteps...
As I am planning on joining the forces again, I would not want my wife serving in the forces with me...
Your husband has my respect...It takes a good kind of person to join the forces.

not Active Duty. Reserves or Guard only, assuming you get the Family Care Plan in place.

For active, since you would duel military, you would have to sign custody of your kids over to someone else, it could be your husband, if he wasnt in it wouldnt be so much of an issue For guard, from what my guard friends have told me, they dont really care.

honestly i don't think you can, who would take care of your children? But i do understand how you feel. The only thing i can suggest is go ask a recruiter, btw what does your husband think of you wanting to do this?

You need to stay with your kids, they need someone. Raise 'em good with a love and respect for their country like you have and that's one of the best services you can do.

Stay with your children , they need their mom with them. If you want to serve your country than join the police force.

do you have family that can take the children if you're both deployed?

You'd have to have a solid family care plan...

Not sure the regs on how many children you can have - or if it is waiverable....
