most Dr's wont see new patients when you are that far along. maybe if you explain why to the new Dr, they might see you though

if you can find a dr that will take you so far into a pregnancy, some don;t want to assume care for a mother after she has been seeing another dr for along time. Do you know why she won't give you the meds? Are they even safe in pregnancy? Talk to the dr and explain that you are feeling neglected and confused, and you need her to clarify her decisions regarding your care.

Are there any other doctors in the same office? You may be able to switch? Ask the front desk person. If she says NO, it's probably due to insurance. Your next option would be to pick a doctor at another office. You would have to call and see if they are accepting new patients AND let them know that you are 6mths along.

It's a free country. I don't know what hick towns these others live in but of course another doctor will take you. If they don't then say you just moved and can't go to the old one anymore. Just lie about why you need to change.
