My son has severe autism and he started walking at 13 months. After that he could even walk on his toenails (like a ballerina). We had to put him in high top tennis shoes to keep him from doing that or the tendons in the back of his legs would mess up. He could walk to the point he was dangerous. I would go in his room and he would be walking around the rail on the top of his crib. ALL autistic kids are different.

Every one with Autism develops differently, so she may not have figured out how to walk yet..but she is probably skilled at another task

My nephew has autism (Asperger's) and has no problem walking. People with autism don't learn the same way we do, so she may just not have figured it out yet.
