Better learn how because i know you don't have the money to pay someone. Next best thing is to make freinds with someone that does know how and hope they don't just take your idea. :)

If you don't know how to make it, then how can you be sure it will work?
There are consultants that will help you figure out whether your idea is really a good one and what will be involved in putting it together.
The starting place is the Small Business Development Center at your local college/university or community college. Another starting place is the on-line consulting service offered by SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives). You will find information on SCORE at www.sba.gov.
Good luck.

If somebody told you how to make it, you'd be stealing their idea. You wouldn't deserve the patent that you invented it, because the logic and knowledge of how the invention functions would not be your own.

A new use of existing technology might be patentable, but it would be a 'hard sell`.
If you've really got something a patent attourney might advise you, (their ethics call for confidentiality), but 'it's gonna cost you`.

You can try to patent the idea, and then hire a firm to manufacture it for you.
