the head cheif said he wanted someone he could count on to take care of things for him when he is off and to work with him while he is there. im 21 with decept experiance. it is at an independant senior living center in south florida.

he called me after the interview and after a background check i will have the job. he told me i will get 11/hr

It is all dependent upon where you live cost of living etc. For some comparisons goto salary.com see what you are worth in other cities and get an average of what your town makes

That not bad for starter. But see if is the top pay you are going to make or if and when you get a raise like in 3 to 6 mouths.

That is pretty decent start pay for your position. If I were you though I would get the experience there and move on to a restaurant environment where you have to the potential to make $15.00 and up per hour.

Yes it is a good rate for a senior living center, but I never accept what is offered I always go $1.00 higher so you should ask for $12.00, never settle because people will always offer lower just in case you were to counter offer so you go for $12.00. He need you!

If there's room to expand (grow), then i'd say certainly. If anything, it's a good place to start and it would like nice on the ol' resume

An assistant to the chief should have a higher salary. I would expect around $650 a week

You know something what your new employer said isn't right there are thousands of other places you can try meanwhile go to www.chkurboss.com and write a review about this employer warning people about him. it's completely anonymous i wrote about my previous employer and found an review written for my current employer that's how i picked my job.

that is way to low of a rate. you should get atleast $15-$20/hr
