Most seek to not be judged, yet, will spend their entire time on this forum defending the judgement of Christians and Christianity. Then they will say that Christians have brought this onto themselves. Is that a copout or what?

Apparently, reading has become hard for some Atheists as well. I didn't say ALL, I said MOST!

Listen up Marine Daughter! I'm a Marine, but a God -fearing one first! I'm proud of that and would give my life for it!

As for UFO, Slavery was administered by men who would twist the Word of god for their own wicked benefits. How many Atheists turned back any slave ships? I'm sorry... I didn't get that number!

Christy, I am not a young Marine. I served my country from 82-89. I served proudly for all, and i will not be mocked simply because you can't answer a SIMPLE question. You owe all service men an apology for that.

Christy, I enjoy the same rights as everyone else. If you don't agree with my questions, go elsewhere.

My brother in Christ, in all due respect for your opinion, I humbly disagree with you. Please let me explain. I have the sweetest, kindest, gentlest, most respectful atheist friends on this forum and in real life. In fact, most of my connections are non-believing, and I love them all. I just have a different perspective on what is judgmental or not. I don't let myself react to questions of my faith and beliefs with offense, because they may be genuinely inquiring about those things with complete respect to quench normal curiosity. And 99% that is the case. If there is blatant provacation, then I "offer my other cheek". We all have preconceived ideas and prejudices about all types of faiths, but I believe it is reallly up to me to know how I approach and respond to others of different backgrounds. I concluded this after many times falling flat on my face and inadvertantly offending others with my previous knee-jerk defensive reactions. I am changing the way I respond to others, but let me assure you at the same time, I am not really compromising my own beliefs. I can treat others with respect and honor and not backslide. It can be done. I've been there, learned from my past mistakes, and still a student of Jesus.
I still love ya brother! May God bring much blessings and revelations into your life, for His glory!

Well, I think that the root of the problem lies in the vociferousness which one is exposed to. Personally, I have generally tried to answer questions from Christians with polite courtesy---I'm a former Christian, so I understand the mindset.
That having been said, the thing that bothers me about most--and I wish to underscore, like you, that I'm not saying all, just most--Christians is the fact that not only do they feel that I am, as an Atheist, going to be tormented for eternity, but that I am deserving of it and that it is only right and proper. Of course, these same Christians will say that they are not the ones judging, but God.....
With all due respect, that seems like a major cop-out to me.

Right on! Though I have met a few here who actually have some consideration for other people's feelings and beliefs, whatever they may be. They have brought it, not us Christians. They don't have to read what we Christians post; it's entirely their choice. But we can't really do anything about it. After all, Jesus did say that we'd encounter this kind of stuff.

Sorry to tell you that also many Christians are so amazing and judgemental as you said. And you can find the bad and good in all groups. And your question is also judgemental and I have the freedom to express my point of view. You have attacked all atheists in your question.

Hey there brother, I have to face my failures, and if an atheist is pointing them out, then the failure is more pronounced than it should be.
I want to be humble. I want to be approachable. I want to be considerate and loving. If I'm not, let me know. If you call it judging me, that's fine.
Ultimately, I want to be Godly. If I'm not, which I will never be completely until I'm complete in Him, I want to know so I can work on it.
Your question kind of reads like a generalization to me, to be honest.

I doubt that "most" atheists post here, but if you supply your atheist census, I'll recant.
Also - it's not just atheists who attempt to counter the irrationality and vitriol of some Christians here. Folks of many paths do. It's not about the judgment of Christians, either, so you may stop stroking your ego now.

Only some Atheists judge, so you shouldn't generalize. But the ones who do, don't don't have as high a level of morals. They don't bother with following God's teachings, because they feel they don't have to answer to Him (yet).

That you block them and then ask questions about them? What's wrong? Afraid of what they have to say?
Christians HAVE brought this on themselves. Standing on TV and insulting people's faith just because they don't believe what YOU believe? You use Semper Fi. I assume you fought for the right to FREEDOM OF RELIGION. You should know better. Of ALL people you should know better. Don't come here and preach about how wrong we all are, how we are all going to hell about the "truth and the way" and insult the Corps.
