I believe we are spirits in a human body for this life yes. After we die we go back into being spirits when we're done learning our life themes and lessons.

We are both. But some people just are not aware of one or the other. In some Christian circles, it's habitual to deny the flesh. They will not think that they are sinners any longer. And in some Atheist circles it's denying the spirit, since they do not recognize any spiritual experience, probably with good reason, but I wonder about that.

Spiritual beings thru ages of time in the pre-existance. A brief mortality and then return to heavenly home.
