I keep feeling drained out..maybe burned out...it all started abt 3 years ago when somebody in my fam got sick and I've kind of lived in fear.

I had several vacations (active ones -I got home more physically tired:)

Now, although there are no major stressors, I keep stressing myself, I am down, tired, tired, tired and nobody seems to really notice. Anyway there's nothing anybody else can do. I feel like there's no end to it all, that all days are alike, the fall is looming over, my friends tire me out..

No there's nothing medically wrong.

I just feel I can get no real, long-lasting REST! What do I do (since I am also considering taking on a completely new challenge, work-related)?

don't tell me to go to the doctor..again, it's not a medical thing.

I would talk with a therapist and change my diet to a better one than whatever you are doing now. Those two things should be two great starters.

Are you exercising? Drinking plenty of water? These things can have such a dramatic influence in your life...

I know I suffer from occasional bouts of depression and when I look back on those periods of time I can tell you that I wasn't exercising regularly and my water intake was down, too. I know it sounds silly and improbable, but it's there just the same.

If you're doing both of those, then try to meditate for a few minutes before going to bed and again when you wake up in the morning. It doesn't have to be long - though, you'll find you're able to do it for longer and longer periods of time - the time to gather yourself together mentally is invaluable.

You keep insisting there's nothing medically wrong, but I hope you've already investigated that avenue...

Good luck! Please let us know how you're doing from time to time!
