Suppose I were to start believing in a god, but not YOUR version of god. Suppose I believed that god was manifest in REALITY, not the pages of a "holy" book. Suppose I said that my god was not at odds with science, but encouraged scientific discovery because that is the ONLY way that we could understand what it created. Suppose my god did not require sacrafice, or anything else for that matter, but simply for me to live and enjoy life on its creation. Suppose it made no laws for humans that could be broken by humans, because anything that it didn't want humans to do, it simply wouldn't be possible for humans to do. Suppose it would make NO SUCH PLACE AS HELL, because such a place would be unnecessary. Suppose it didn't rely on man to teach other men about it, but allowed you to discover it on your own, free of charge. Suppose my god doesn't write books that men can alter, it makes immutable laws that man has to follow. Could you honestly say that your god is more real than mine?

Well it's not about what is real or what isn't real. It's more so what you believe to be true. If you believe your god is better than ours then thats your own belief even though we believe differently. Besides you can't prove something exists if you can't see it and you can't disprove something exists if you can't see it. It's a two headed sword. We can only go off of what we encounter in life and experience head on.

-manifest in REALITY.
-not at odds with science, but encouraged scientific discovery because that is the ONLY way that we could understand what it created.
-simply for me to live and enjoy life on its creation.
-allowed you to discover it on your own, free of charge.
THIS IS MY GOD, SILLY.
-no laws for humans that could be broken by humans, because anything that it didn't want humans to do, it simply wouldn't be possible for humans to do.
SO, PEOPLE WOULD BE PUPPETS?...
-Suppose it would make NO SUCH PLACE AS HELL, because such a place would be unnecessary.
THIS WOULD BE B/C THERE IS NO FREE WILL.

I'D SAY MY GOD STILL WINS!

you tend to make a God that only does what you want him to do.

The only reason many people don't like to believe in God is because they don't like someone or anything telling them they (human) are wrong.

For instants God tells you - you must be good and not sin

But you don't like a God that tells you what to do, but a God that tells you life the way you want.

well lets see drugs are not bad, stealing, lying is not bad (for you say everyone does it).

The point is if you create someone that only does what you want then indeed he is not a God.

First of all, less supposing! Had to read twice before I got it. Your question boils down to "Is my religion better than your religion because it goes by different rules?" Us Christians are convinced that ours is the only way, so of course our God would be more real than yours. (Besides the fact that the existence of Jesus has been proven.) Any follower of any religion thinks (ideally) that theirs is the one true religion, so anyone's answer, except people of your own religion, would be the same.

From all the supposing about your god, it sounds like you just created a god-figure to take credit for creating the universe. From your description, he just created and backed off, never to be seen again. I wouldn't want to believe in that god, but that's just me.

Yes, because you are worshipping a false, man-made god. My God, of the Bible, clearly states "You shall have no gods before Me." You're creating a mortal's fantasyland to do as you please and calling it a god. Is your idea any different than how you're living now? Well it is definitely a god, but it can't protect you or save your soul, like my God does.

It reads like the issues you have with God.

God isn't an invention, and has a nature that is unchanging. Not liking His nature doesn't help you so much in addressing your issues.

I claim my God to be real. You 'suppose' and create something. My claim hasn't changed, God is real. Your claim is, by your own account a supposition.

I'll be praying for you. He is real, and He loves you.

That would be nice, but where would our free will be???? and you are absolutly right, i think apart form 1 or 2 statments that is MY GOD!!! but about the realness???? people say they have a real God but go about as if he weren't, real is an indiviual thing. How can you tell someone something is real untill they are able to understand it???? Christian bibles say that the devil him self knows God is real..... humhum something to think about. isn't?

God of the Bible asks you too question him and to seek him and to rely on him and to share his glory with all.
And of course dont forget the golden rule. God and science can co-exist. The problem occurs when science tries to push the God equation entirely out of the picture.
it's that simple to me

Truth is things as the were, as they are and as they are to come. Ignorance of the truth does not make reality. To say what you have imagined is real is imaginary.

We could debate about this for an eternity and get no where, but just by you believing that one deity exists would be a start!
