Ring worm is a fungal in fection of the skin. It is usually a somewhart roundish area of red, itchy skin, sometimes scaly. It is treated with antifungals that can be purchased OTC.

you can buy Tinactin over the counter to get rid of ringworm. wash your hands thoroughly before and after treating the site. a doctor can prescribe pills if the infection's too bad. the link is for a picture of it. it's a circular raised red patch.

lesions are red, circular, flat, scaling, and have well defined borders. caused from a skin fungus. dr. will prescribe an antifungal cream or ointment. wash everything that comes into conntact with the lesion. goodluck.
