Yes, and it also has something to do with God. Good job.

Oh yeah. It's human nature. When you first see a person, you right away make all kinds of assessments and decisions based on what they look like -- stuff you aren't even aware of.

You decide what he might be like because of his hair color, hair style, clothes, tone of voice, gestures/mannerisms, even the size of his ears.

It's human nature but it isn't always right. I try to keep in mind that these subconscious assessments aren't right 90% of the time.

Most of the time pretty people I thought would be nice are rude and other people that I thought would be dull or mean are cool, interesting and fun. Just as an example.

I've found from personal experience this to be so true...

how often have I thought my first impression of a man turned out to be wrong. Wisdom is being able to realize I was wrong.

Now... I don't look at first impressions... I won't make a judgement call until we have a crisis situation.... that's when I get to see how much sand is in the bag.

Immature and judgmental people do, yes...but isn't it better to wait until you actually spend some time with someone...before you make decisions? Isn't that how YOU and I would want to be treated? How often to do meet someone (who we've heard about prior) and think, my gosh, they're NOTHING like I expected!

Scientifically speaking everyone does this, it's subconcious. We make quick decisions about people from their appearance and other physical clues. There are all sorts of studies about it.

More often than not. It's human nature to project more often than we perceive. Particularly with people we don't know.
