I felt like "always a bridesmaid, never a bride" was just for me. All my friends were getting married but not me. But I also always believed God had someone special in mind for me. I prayed for him continually. I actually met him on the internet. We talked and immediately I felt a connection with him. Before long, I knew he was the one. But we still took our time. [Background info: Turns out he was married before; and that's why God wanted me to wait so long. His wife had repeatedly cheated on him, and eventually he left her. I met him after they were separated and in the process of divorce.]

We got married a year after we met. (He also converted and was baptized into Christ a couple weeks before our wedding.) We've been married over nine years, and I continually thank God for my wonderful husband!

Kori Z, I couldn't agree more. Keep your faith in God. I'm sure He has someone very special for you too!

Over the last two years a lot of my friends were getting engaged, married or beginning relationships and I became extremely frustrated. I'd be jealous anytime I caught them holding hands or stealing a quick kiss. I want(ed) that soooooooooooo badly! "When is it gonna be my turn?" I would shout out to God. Eventually I came to the realization that God HASN'T introduced me to "that guy" because He still has much He wants to teach me. I've accepted this because I know that He is preparing my heart for my future husband and is preparing that man's heart as well. I still get frustrated every once in a while, but now I understand that God wants to heal some of my wounds and allow me to grow before Mr. Right comes along. I'm DEFINITELY excited for the day I get to meet my future husband!

Ok, here is how it goes. I have a girl friend alright. But who knows if she is the right one for me but only God. In a couple years a couple months even I might be with someone else if this dating does not work. We are not in control. God knows are thoughts. He knows our future. And holds our life in His hands. Just give it to Him my friend. Do not worry about tomorrow, let tomorrow worry about itself.

No... you wait for your head and then your heart to tell you.
You will really understand the complexities of this question when you have worked to keep your relationship on track e.g. ,fresh, alive, healthy and interesting.
