hum!!!!!! I have evryday of in which you speak of! But, everyday I lie my life to the fullest in Chrit. That includes husband, children, grandchildren, family, friends, business, housework, lawn, (etc.)
just everyday life
but, would be glad to set aside all things to come together with others who have a heart to pray for the safety of the children in our country.

Demonic forces?

Whatever, if that means one more day I get off of work, sounds good.

Yes! I know here we have a day of prayer, and I am not sure what day that is, but I think it is once a month-- maybe once every two months. BUT this does not mean you have the day off, it means you show up an hour EARLIER to pray before school starts.
Kids will stand by the flag pole and pray--so fellow believers will do this in the public schools as well as many teachers and staff in private schools.
I think it is always a great idea to pray over our schools and kids--- and that the Lord would bring his word and truth into their lives. I know at public schools you cannot teach the word of God- but we should pray that many christians who go there would be bold enough to share it with other kids.

I don't think it would pass in our government. Sad to say. But if there was one I would be the first in line if our city had a place to meet for this occasion.

Yes-there are demonic forces everywhere for those of you who don't know. READ THE BIBLE.
OOPS! I forgot, you don't believe in that either.

I'm so proud of our students and teachers who make the effort to come to school an hour early to pray a hedge of protection around them.

God bless you for the thought. As a mother and grandmother, it means a lot to me.

I don't think you asked for the day off....just a day set aside for this. I think it is a GREAT idea! We need to have our children and their safety prayed for....absolutely! Just ignore the ones who either don't have kids or don't care!

Good idea...but if it is done in the schools it will have to be "humanism" promotng, and Bible free!

The ACLU wants the state to "seperate the church" from the people!

Hey the Russians are having a Conception Day on Sept 12th. Everyone gets the day off to have sex and try to conceive. But yours sounds good too.

Good idea in theory, except someone would use that as a reason to attack one or more of our schools that day. No doubt about that.

Let's just get it over with and take every day off. We can make up the excuses later.

u just want another day off for some stupid reason.

typical and lazy.

people need to quit finding new things to celebrate so they can get out of working.

and please show me where (in the bible) it talks about demonic forces actually having control over anything.

Demonic forces? You people are quite delusional. Are you still gathering up God's Warriors to fight those forces?
