I have holes in my tonsils, some are quite large and some appear blister like (even though they're not blisters). I find it hard to swallow sometimes, but I don't have any throat pain at the moment.

I've read a lot about this and many people seem to get 'tonsil stones'. I don't (and have never) experienced that.

Why do I have holes in my tonsils? Will this warrant having them removed?

Our tonsils have crypts so, yes, there are little "openings" in our tonsils. These little crypts can fill with food particles, bacteria and dead white cells. This can appear as a white spot or spots.

The white can also be tonsil stones (which can form from the accumulation of all that junk in the crypts). As long as you don't have a sore throat, there is nothing to worry about. Not everyone forms tonsil stones so, apparently, you are one who doesn't.

The "holes" are totally normal and everyone has them. These crypts do not in any way signify that you will be a candidate for tonsillectomy.

Know the asteroid wellhead tonsil stones them for many years and it's been title not eventually.

Best decision I've ever made! I was shocked by the way of getting out the stones out. It was so easy, but more importantly, painless. I really liked the little trick he had for preventing gag reflex. He have one happy customer here.
