Yes! The clouds don't block the rays that cause your skin to tan.

Make sure you wear some sun screen protection.

Yes. UV rays are high-frequency radiation that is able to penetrate clouds, even on a cloudy day... so, yes you can still get a tan, just not nearly as bad as on a hot, clear, and sunny day. Try swimming in the water, the radiation will bounce back off the water and will become more energized, also making it more dangerous for you. But you will get a tan. Thats why they say you tan faster in the water. You can get a tan/sunburn in very high altitude on a cloudy day too. (I went to central Mexico to the pyramids..elevation was about 5,000 ft above sea level or higher..I wore sunblock but the ones that didn't got sunburned).

Yes. Most people don't realize that even when it is overcast, the sun's rays can still get through enough to affect the skin. That is why so many cosmetic products these days come with SPF included.

Yes, clouds only block some of the rays from the sun, the rest are still there. Just don't forget sunblock.

yes you can. people say to be careful because when it's overcast, you don't feel yourself getting sunburned because the sun doesn't feel as strong. don't let the clouds fool you :)

Depending on your altitude, you can even burn yourself to a crisp on a cloudy day.
