Anndretta was introduced to theater at the age of ten by her mother who was determined to expose her to activities outside of their neighborhood, the Acorn projects, on the west side of Oakland, CA. Anndretta took the public bus to the Julia Morgan Theater in Berkeley, CA after school to attend classes and rehearsals for early roles in plays and musicals. At the age of twelve she landed her first professional television job as a host for the FOX Kids Club doing news segments, interviews and voice-overs.

R.I.P Ron Lyle That is some sudden and sad news indeed. The man was a big and strong heavyweight that fought some of the best of a great era of heavyweights. I will never forget his absoulte war with George Foreman and he almost pulled off the huge upset as he knocked Foreman down several times in one of the most amazing fights I ever seen. He will be missed.
