You could just as easily ask why the creation theory is taught in class when Science says otherwise.

Guess what? Your right! we didn't evolve from monkeys. We actually evolved from a type of ape. Don't see the difference?

Well, okay.....look at a spider monkey, for example....now look at a chimpanzee...now study each carefully....still don't see a difference? Well that just proves what your question suggested.

A little advice, stay in school.

There was once a nun that taught 5th grade science in the 50's and she told her class that some people thought that man came from apes. Of course she knew that darwinism wasn't even believed by Darwin! He put it across as a theory!Any way, she told her class that if people wanted to believe in evolution; that monkeys may be their ancestors, but not hers!LOL!

Should schools start teaching that the Earth is flat, as well? And burn a heretic who may state otherwise? Um, and if you try to travel too far on the sea or ocean, you will just fall off... of the Earth? :p

p.s. - it is 'we were' not we was... didn't pay attention on your grammar classes neither, I guess lol

The Bible is a book, like your science class book is a book. One is fiction and one is non-fiction. It's up to you to decide which is which. Hint: go to your local bookstore and look at the categories. Then ask yourself what makes a book fiction or non-fiction.

About the "monkeys" thing- you obviously weren't paying attention in science class. Ask your teacher for help.

righto. the universes are dreamed into existence by Vishnu as He slumbers in the coils of the divine Nagas.

how silly to teach evolution when it's abundantly clear in Vedas that Vishnu creates all things.

the bible is a collection of stories passed down from generation to generation, until we were able to write. it was 2000 years before the stories were written down. ooh and by the way how do you know it wasn't GOD'S plan that we evolved from something.

School is where one learns about real things. Things like science, and languages. People who wish to pull their brains out with a straw and refill the cavity with myths, superstitions and fantasies, go to Sunday school and/or church.

The bible was written by a woman in King Solomon's court. She was not a scientist.

Besides being an obvious idiot, you have been brainwashed into accepting her writings as truth. It apparently wasn't that difficult to do.

There is scientific proof of evolution which is taught in the schools. There is no scientific proof for the Bible and a lot of people don't believe in it.

Schools attempt to deal with things that are measurable and verifiable thorough the senses.

And let's not forget who controls the schools, at least in this country of America.
