The question is , do you fall often? There is a form of seizure disorder where people report a particular odor or smell right before or directly after the seizure. Just hoping you are ok.

could be just what you landed on or it could also be a sign of a head injury. i would go get your head checked out to make sure you havent damaged anything. if this is a recurring thing what your smelling could be part of a seizure. ive never herd of anyone smelling anything because of a stroke tho.

No i dont. That is very unusual, and i must say im sorry, bc this is probably not the answer you want, but you may need to consult a doctor. Maybe just When your having a check-up bring it up. Or if it get's stronger or worse, make an appointment.

Smell disorders after a brain injury are fairly common.
The DO mean you have injured your brain. You should see a Doctor.
Search the internet for smell disorder brain injury to read up.

it might be a stroke, even young people can suffer from strokes, and that is more dangerous than an adult suffering form on, the falling might have been part of the stroke to begin with, what was the smell like, burning toast?
