I am a Wiccan every moment of every day of my life. It's something that's in my blood and bones, not something that I "practice" once a week, for example.
If you're asking how often I hold ritual, that's a different question. I facilitate a monthly full moon worship group, and we hold ritual each month on or near the night of the full moon.
If you're asking how often I practice magic, the answer is: at the full moon, and when and as needed at other times of the month.
Do I follow the "old ways"? Wicca is a modern religion -- we are inspired by pre-Christian faiths, but we are not a reconstructionist tradition, so no, we do not follow the "old ways" in that sense.
Do I celebrate Christian holidays? Only in the secular sense, not as religious holy days.
When I have children... irrelevant question. I don't want children and have taken steps to see that I never have any.
I'm looking forward to seeing the other answers you get to your questions (which are good ones).

I follow Wiccan beliefs 24/7 save for the Justice Ritual. I forgive, so that I'm out of the way of the consequences, of those who harm others. They get the full brunt, of all they do.
I do not Celebrate any "Christian Holidays" since their holidays are all just renamed from pagan religions. There have been no worthy men. So Children aren't part of the equaision.

well im not a total wiccan but i do understand the religion and am considering to convert to it. But when I have kids I am going to raise them wiccan, my mom told me she was a witch when I was in kindergarten, she isn't very active any more though. But I think I'ddo the same then start teachingthem when th are between the ages of 10-15. I think I'd also celebrate a few christian holidays, not sure if you consider Yule a christian holiday. And I would definitly try to practice regulary, but things may come up you know?

I practice every minute of every day, my spirituality is part of my life. I also practice ritual as part of my spirituality four times per day, in the morning I do an air invocation, at noon I do a fire invocation, in the evening I do a water invocation, and at night I do an earth invocation, a daily banishing of mundane negativity, and meditation.
When I have children, I intend to raise them as Wiccan, but also educate them in other religious beliefs, and allow them to make their own decisions when they get older in life. For the holidays, I fully follow the Wiccan holidays, and will practice them with my children as well. I have to agree with prariecrow about the Christian holidays, as more of a secular observance, especially concerning other members of my or my wife's family.

I'm not Wiccan, but Hellenic Pagan so I'll also chime in here.
I follow the Hellenic holidays for my religious observances, HOWEVER as I am still close to my mother and sister who are Christian I also celebrate some Christian holidays with them.
My fiance and I have discussed what will happen if/when we have children. We intend to raise them Pagan. This being said, we have no objection to "Grandma" teaching them about Christianity.

i'm not wiccan, but a witch. i follow the wheel of the year. we also celebrate christmas as a time to get together with our extended family and give gifts and eat too much. yule is our more religious day, but the kids look forward to both equally.
i am the mom of a son, 15, and 2 daughters, 12, 9. they have been educated in many different religions, and many different pagan paths. they are free to choose their own beliefs (or lack thereof). currently, my son follows wicca, the 12 yr old is a witch and the 9 yr old is an atheist. i say currently because i believe people's beliefs can evolve in any direction.
hope this helps

Tessa, enable me to reply the final query first. Yes, Wicca IS truly. Wicca is a Religion and as such, we provide honor to BOTH a Goddess and a God (despite the fact that there are exceptions to that (Dianic Wicca, being one)). We additionally recognize the Divine as being occur within the Natural global round us, which style of offers non-Wiccans the impact that we worship Nature. It isn't Nature that we worship it's the Divine, and nature is best the conduit via which we accomplish that. Wicca don't worship idols, we worship in entrance of statues (once more there are lots of exceptions to this as good (Green Witches come to brain)). Christians don't worship the move, they worship what the move represents, it's accurately that identical precept in Wicca. We behavior our ceremonies for the duration of the entire moon (a few additionally the brand new moon), and 8 Sabbats that are unfold out over the 12 months (What many Wicca name the Wheel of the Year). These celebrations re-reside special levels within the existence a long time of the Gods and Goddesses and are performed in commemoration of those Divine parties. The Wicca admire the lifestyles of well and evil as inherent is ALL matters, the whole lot and everybody has the potential for BOTH (Even the Divine). Evil thus, is an essential facet of the whole lot and one can't have one with out the opposite. The key to that is steadiness, Wicca maintain the inspiration of steadiness to be one of the crucial middle concepts of the universe and al which exists. So, to reply your first query, there's NO being that's utterly well or utterly evil, best the purpose of the person determines whether or not a factor or an movement is for well or evil. Therefore, as there's NO being assigned the character of whole evil (ie, a satan) it's unimaginable for us to worship one of these being. NOw, as many member of Judeo-Christian-Islamic Faiths are so keen on declaring in unequivocal phrases, "if you don't worship the god of sunshine and love, then you're worshiping the satan". They fail to notice that in an effort to worship some thing or any one, then worship MUST be the purpose. There isn't any such factor as unknowingly worshiping any one. We can NOT worship a inspiration which does NOT exist to us, thus we do NOT worship the "Devil", because the "Devil" is NOT one of the crucial Divine being standards which exists inside the Faith approach of Wicca. It is as functional and direct as that. Does this make experience to you? Brightest Blessings, Raji the Green Witch

I have not done a ritual since my husband/high priest died. He committed suicide, which made me reconsider and review all that he had taught me. Now I'm sort of a casual version of a witch, with no real religion.
I am also a member of the Ethical Society, which gives me something to do on Sunday mornings. Our motto is "Deed, not creed." We have a wide variety of beliefs, but we all agree that it is necessary to cultivate an ethical world.
If I had children (or grandchildren, since it's too late for children), I'd raise them in the Ethical Society. That would leave them free to explore their own approach to religious practice of whatever kind, if any.

I am Wiccan 24/7, every day of every week of every month.
How on earth would one do otherwise?
I don't celebrate Christian holidays, I do celebrate secular ones.
My son was raised to respect all religions and become one as an adult if he wished. He's been an atheist, a Pastafarian and a non-practicing Hellenic Reconstructionist so far.
