i was wondering since i lost 10 pounds this summer :]

Actually, it depends on how big you were. If you're like 300 pounds nobody is going to notice if you lose 10. But if you were almost at your "goal" weight, if you lose 10 it will probably be very noticeable. Not trying to be politically incorrect, I just know from experience.

If you started out at 250 lbs then no, you probably wont see a difference. If you started at 150 then maybe. If you started at 130 or 125 you will certainly see a difference.

Yes, you look thinner. If a person had to lose 100 and only lost 10- then it would not be noticeable- but someone your weight- definitly.

it depends on what the 10 lbs on the scale consisted of. the majority of dieters do not track body fat and this is one of the biggest mistakes made. by not tracking body fat you have no idea where gains and/or losses on the scale are occurring. they can be water weight loss/gain, muscle loss/gain or fat loss/gain.

10 lbs of water weight will have very little effect from a physical standpoint where 10 lbs of fat loss will.

Usually they will lose weight from their face, chest and so on.. so yeah..
