I'm having a private party at a bar & grill where they will provide appetizers only (I am paying a certain amount per person). I'm assuming it's necessary to tip...but what percentage? Thanks!

Gratuity won't be included in the bill.

Simply ask if gratuity is included. If yes or even if no study the bill and see if it was added. 15% tip or better of the pre-tax bill total depending on service quality. Have fun!

Many establishments add a tip to the check,
for groups of 5-6 or more.
They usually add 15-17%.
Examine your tab for this or ask. They will seldom tell you and always leave the tip line open on the check.
I have often tipped on top of tip. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.
