Cold weather is dismissed as weather, or is shown to prove that global warming does exist.
New York City hit a high of only 59DegF this week. That was 23 deg below average. That was just dismissed as a weather event.
Now imagine if the temps went 23 degs ABOVE average. If NYC hit 105DegF, then that would have proved that global warming was real and we're all going to die from it.
So-called "global warming" is the most selective "science" ever encountered.

Did you know the elevation of Antarctica is INCREASING?
That's right, the amount of ice, that is actually pushing the island-continent of Antarctica down, is increasing?
How can that be, while Global Warming is said to be true?
Shouldn't the ice be melting, since the globe is warming up?
What if the ocean temperature increases by just a little, wouldn't that increase the water evaporation rate (the "water vapor pressure" is controlled by the water temperature)?
What if the water vapor in the air increases?
Wouldn't that bring more water vapor over Antarctica, and more snow and ice and the Glaciers in Antarctica, that are sliding to the oceans, ever faster, continue to grow in size?
Do you know how many cities had their longest streak of consecutive days with temperatures over 100 Degrees -this year?
Remember, Global Warming means more ENERGY in the air and you can judge that energy from Hurricane Dean in Yucatan.
By the way, why do you think they put a huge first class resort in Cuncun, with a big airport, where there was nothing.
Do you know how many hurricanes they've had recently?
They probably regret, now, putting Cuncun in Yucatan, where previously there were NO INHABITANTS.
Can you imagine that they did not know about Global Warming when they made the decision, some 25 years ago?

Of course we can say it's true, I mean if you've got hot weather in April and you've got cold weather in August there is no reason to say why global warming is not happening. You may think global warming is not true but this may be because you are just looking at the weather but the amount of ice melting in the Arctic and Antarctica global warming is happening and the amount of animals suffering is just unbelieveable. All this freak weather happening in the U.K may be due to global warming or something else.

I really wish you people would move on and get off this subject of trying to disprove a scientific theory.
So here goes I will explain this once....Global warming is the generic term, CLIMATE CHANGE is the real situation at hand. With that said man-made global warming has been predicted that the globe will experience wild weather shifts to even include very cold days in Summer.
Think of it this way , as the earth heats up it will clash more with the cold of the poles. The earth really wants to freeze being that without natural heat trapping gases the planet would be 3 degrees Fahrenheit on average, so it goes without saying the more heat trapping gases we put in the atmosphere the warmer the planet will become.

Okay, it's really easy if you understand what 'global warming' is and how it 'works' ... the 'warming' is causing the glaciers to 'melt' thus reducing the size of the 'ice pack' at both poles. That water is 'fresh' and when it melts into the ocean, the percentage of 'salinity' is greatly reduced. The less salty the water, the 'stronger' the storms. Storms are 'wetter' (the oceans are wetter, and that is where the storms are 'formed') and the 'wetter air' is cooler ... so the 'worst thing' that global warming can do is start a new 'ice age' ... what will happen if global warming continues, as the world tries to 'heal itself' ... so the 'coldest August day ever recorded' in the northern hemisphere is 'super bad news' as far as 'global warming' is considered. We had a 'November storm' in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. in August (usually our hottest month) due to the 'global warming' ...

Because it's the long term effects, not the short day to day effects that matter. Carbon Dioxide levels are far too high to be part of the natural cycle, we know this as a fact. And only human-beings are capable of creating these levels from industry. Stop thinking so small, stop thinking like a right-wing nut, just because the weather outside is one way, doesn't mean it's untrue. All you have to do is look up a chart of the carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere, and study the greenhouse effect it has on the earth. It's not all that difficult to see that 99.9% of scientists who have seen and analyzed this data all agree. It's funny the only ones who don't have never seen the data, nor analyzed it and simply look out the window and go "Oh it's pretty cold out there, Hannity must be right!". The latter is NOT the way to come to fact, the former is. However, I find it hard to believe you really want to know the truth based on fact. You'd rather stick your head in the sand and believe everything is fine and your almight god will handle it. Well, you're wrong.

Global Warming is a myth, the earth changes every year as it ages, there are times in the earth's orbit that it is further away from the sun...if people really recorded the temperatures from year to year, they would see that the days and years differ and the earth is not actually overheating itself....

When discussing long term global climate change, the global mean temperature is the only one that matters. The fact that some places have seen slightly lower than average temperatures, while some have seen slightly higher, doesn't affect the long term trend.

If we've been keeping track of record temperatures for about 120 years, and there are 365 days in a year, there should a record high or low ffor your area about three times a year. It's far more rare than that. Even in our "record heat wave" in Georgia, there have been a grand total of 0. We are stuck in the middle, neither hot nor cold, and have been since the '70s.

the quantity of CO2 interior the ambience grew to become into intense in the process the Carboniferious era inflicting plant existence to flourish from pole to pole. The flowers in that era absorbed lots of the CO2 interior the ambience. by way of fact micro organism to eat cellulose had no longer yet developed is why we've fossil fuels right this moment. The making of fossil fuels will in no way take place lower back in earths history. as quickly as we burn fossil fuels we promptly launch the CO2 that fossil fuels have effectively locked up for hundreds of thousands of years. end of tale. source: Junior intense college technological awareness training.
