People are constantly asking if GOD exist, and I can't help but wonder why ask such a question while your beathing. GOD blesses you with the breath of life from the start, your heart and all your internal organs work because HE said so. If you look outside trees, birds etc are all blessings from above. Even the wind that blows is a testament to his stregnth. I have heard quite a few reason why people don't believe, but in my opinion I think that some of the main reasons may be selfishness and pride. Selfishness, because GOD always put others before himself He even gave us his SON. Not to mention wanting to do everything and anything with no one to answer to for your actions and no consequences for your action. Pride, because you don't want to answer or be beholding to someone for every little thing and lets not forget you have to be able to drop your pride to get on your knees and pray. I hope those who don't have faith find it.

Someone asked if GOD gets credit for ugly (bad) stuff and the answer is no Satan handles that all on his own.

Several people have been honest and I apprieciate that. I'm not so much religious as I am spiritual. I don't have a denomination nor do I attend church. I don't make assumptions or an attack on anyone because I don't want anyone to do it to me. I just ask questions and I BELIEVE. If me asking a question is attacking people who don't believe (which I would never do out of shear respect for the individual and their beliefs or non-beliefs) then maybe they shouldn't make the choice to not answer the question.

Thanks TW, keep it up....
" Fret not thyself because of evildoers....for they shall soon be cut down like the grass....Trust in the Lord and do good, and so shall thy dwell in the land.....The wicked plots against the just and gnashes upon him with his teeth, The Lord LAUGHS AT HIM, for He sees his day coming".(Psalm 37:1-13)

Because when I look around, I do not see Your God there.
Sorry, God did not always put others before himself. One of his big laws is "place no others Gods before me" He places himself first. And just because someone does not believe in the Biblical God does not mean they don't hold themselves accountable for what they (or that there isn't someone else holding them accountable). Is the only way you can do the Right thing is if you think you are being watched 24/7 and will have to answer for every little thing you do? This doesn't seem like you are doing the right the for the sake of "doing the right thing"... instead, it appears that, you're only doing it to keep yourself out of trouble...
Maybe it's pride for some... but to assume this of everyone, well, I would have to say you look rather silly. You don't know what goes through people's minds and hearts, so really you can't say exactly what each person is feeling or believing based on them just not believing in your version of "God".
I hope that, though you may have faith, that you take the blinders off long enough to find out what people believe and why instead of assuming things about them just because they believe differently than you do.

Very good question. I don't think the concern is of God but the Bible. The way the Bible came to be. Who wrote it and why. What to believe. The discrepancies of the stories. What passages really mean. The people who say there is no God period in their heart or hearts know there is. If not a God there is something. We say God to describe what we feel as you have written. The last part of you question will cause many to lose sight of your first thoughts on the subject.

damn i though you meant validate in the sense of "make valueable" but you mean "confirm" looking at the following paragraph were just back at the old R&S crossroads.
as an athiest I try not to attack religion as attacking anything is relative to it, I advise you to not attack atheists for the same reason.- we are after all on a team called humanity, and as such you are my sister and i will not pull your hair, Sister! i'll just try and be a good brother.
those trees you talk of i love them as much as you. i can't fail to see something in them nor can you because what we do see engenders love in both of us.We are both inspired by this 'proof of god'.
that's right you lot out there saw it here first yahoo evolving - an attempt at being athiest brother and christian sister, without an agenda based on beliefs.
christianity brings good and atheism brings good we have the same effect..
we need a team not a war. we are "fiddling while Rome burns" and there is world on fire out there to fix
Bro.

I ask that question because if God made me, he gave me the ability to think and reason. If he made me, he would want me to test and determine the truth as otherwise anyone could tell me anything and I'd believe it.
Unfortunately if God exists, he made very little evidence for his existence and filled his writings with contradictions, events that have no evidence and massive mixed messages. This leads me to accept the conclusion that he doesn't exist.
If you can present real evidence, I'll be more than happy to objectively examine it

You are very poor at logical thinking. Your statement is horribly incorrect due to two primary facts:
1.) All of that could very well exist without any need to have been created by a god.
2.) Even if it all was created by a god, there is absolutely no evidence that it was your god that did it. In fact, due to the many inconsistencies found in your scriptures, and the many ludicrous elements in your belief system, it is pretty much impossible that your god exists or created anything. If all of this is proof of any god, its definitely not proof of YOUR false god.

I just went outside and took a look around, no sign of God. There was a good breeze, but it was caused by warm air rising.
You can believe what you want.
Don't preach to me.

Everything around you validates that there is a god. The Bible refines that, and validates God. There is a difference between the two arguments that you are trying to merge into one.

I see nothing around me which validates the existence of the Christian God. At most you could claim that some force created us all, and that it may or may not be your God. There is nothing that you can point to and say "here, nonbeliever...only MY God could have created this and nothing else."
Someone could look at your "evidence" and claim with equal justification that we were all sneezed from the nostril of the Great Zarquon, and that our end will be the Coming of the Great White Kleenex.

Replace "god' every time it appears in your 'question' with 'invisible pink unicorn'. Does it now prove the existence of the invisible pink unicorn? It must, by your definition!
