failing? or fallen?

Failing: depends on why they are failing. If it's correctable, it can be prevented. My grandmother was suffering early signs of kidney failure, and it was just one of the major blood vessels needed to have a stini put in to keep the blood flowing better.

If it's kidney disease or cancer, NO.
