You should become less worldly and more spiritual in theory as the distractions are few but RIF has a point and the Laws of the Jungle might just take over, just as long as you stay away from face paints and other tribal ways that might make you feel not you but an alter ego of some sort and stay grounded and stick with your normal morality then should be OK. You would need to learn some survival tactics specific for the jungle to survive on the diet and avoid being bitten by snakes and spiders, etc. You would need a Leader and ground rules for your community or the Laws of the Jungle will probably apply.

Cons: Man eating ants, man eating animals, getting lost in the jungle, sand pits, a lot of rain, dangerous natives (sometimes cannibals), being away from friends and loved ones if it is by yourself, the pitch black dark and the animals that can navigate in the dark, and if get sick, injured or hurt in some way will most likely die a slow and possibly agonizing death.
Pros: The beautiful scenery, the wildlife, and the night sky that can be seen so clear due to no city lights of any kind.
Cons again: The beautiful scenery, wildlife can kill you, especially in the beautiful night sky since you can't see a thing.

If someone dropped you out of a helicopter into the middle of some tropical jungle somewhere, and if you had no wilderness survival training specific to that area, and no supplies, you would probably be lucky if you managed to survive for more than a day. There are lots and lots of deadly dangerous things in jungles.
However, while you were in the process of being killed by your surroundings, the scenery would probably be rather pretty.

Interesting place to ask this question. I live on the Island of Oahu - we have rain forests and jungles. I choose not to live there because:
1) Humid and muggy
2) Bugs
3) more Bugs
The rain forests and jungles are beautiful! Full of life, fragrance, and bugs!

If you mean a real jungle, then there are many cons about it. Humidity is extremely high, bitting bugs are overwhelming, body fungus is a very real issue and not to be ignored, jungles are the natural habitat for all things poisonous. Disease by insect vectors is very high (yellow fever, malaria, so many more, and many are deadly. No thanks for that life.

Watch "Lord of the Flies".
People lose all sense with a jungle mentality.

In Vietnam back in the sixties, the Viet Cong were kind of a con I guess. I'm sure they're real nice folks now though.
