Yes.
Change is the norm, and thus far has proven quite unpredictable.
The current movement would seem to have us be prepared for serious global warming. But does that leave us well prepared for a smaller change or even a shift toward much cooler temperatures.
Up until this Spring, we were undergoing two years of drought, now we've shifted back to plentiful rainfall to the point of flooding in many areas. The point is, we have to remain flexible; if we only plan for one climate trend, it can seriously impact our ability to respond to something different.
My feeling is that those who are better prepared to deal with change will have the least problems. For my own part, I will continue to remain self-sufficient: decreasing my energy needs, harvesting rainwater, producing foods, etc...

OK, first of all the greenhouse effect is GOOD, if we didn't have it then the Earth would be as cold and icy as Pluto, but due to human causes we are adding more CO2 into the atmosphere that's disrupting the delicate balance of our atmospheres gases and causing the world to heat up at a rapid unnatural rate which is causing catastrophic results in our worlds weather patterns A.K.A. Global Warming.

Our planet is the only one we have to live on so we need to take care of it. I'm not personally blaming anyone. Pollution is part of our society.
Proof that Climate Change is real.

EDITED Yes change is the norm. Here's how I feel about climate change.
I know this about climate change. About 30 years ago, the scientific data proves climate change came to be dominated by man made forces:

I am concerned because this particular warming is threatening severe damage to our society, particularly economic damage. But I also know that there is plenty we can do to reduce this change:

I can't get through this by myself (although I can make small changes to help a bit). What I want to do is to support the major effort described above. That is the only way to get through this for us all.

Change is the norm, but the current warming is generated by mankind, and we can do something about it.
And I regard Mr. Jello's new status as "Top Contributor" to be a flaw in the Y!A process. "Top Obfuscator/Clown" is more like it.
And I'm not a liberal. I am a member of the Republican Party who has little tolerance for lies and propaganda about what is, in large part, a scientific question that may be critical to the future of us all.

Just life your life as you choose. It's too short to worry about 1/10th of 1 deg Fahrenheit per year.
There are those that look for direction and validation for their lives. This is just some peoples nature. I wish them well, hope they find their peace in life, but wish they stop pressing their morals on others.
Some are impressed by white lab coats and shiny objects. For them they will believe anything that people in authority tells them. Again I wish them well, but I will stop them from trying to force others to believe.
And then there's the sad group who have spent the last 20 years of their life to study the climate only to find that there is nothing to man made climate change, it's just natural and now realize that they wasted their lives, added not one thing of value to the world.
