I just asked a question about disease, and many Christians answered that God didn't create disease, Satan did.
Germs are living things. Satan creates life? And if so, why is God credited with inflicting plagues on the Israelis and the Egyptians in the Bible? Is the Bible lying to us?

Devoted to Christ: Would you care to explain exactly how humans created disease? And then explain it to all the other Christians, who are given to ask, "If science is so great why can't people create life?"

Delmar - the Israelites were also afflicted with plagues when God got mad at them. Read your Bible.
Funny, when I first saw the face of my newborn daughter, I marveled at the power of evolution.

If Satan created disease, then that means he's more powerful than God because everybody gets sick at some point or another in their life. Not everyone finds God.

Satan doesn't have the power to create anything except destruction, deceit, disasters, death and pain. Anything corrupted that happened after man sinned was the result of sin itself. "The soul that sin shall die"
The plagues were not inflicted on the Israelites, they were inflicted on the Egyptians, who's hearts were hardened with sin. Don't you remember: "Let my people go?" The Israelites were kept slaves for many years; and the Pha'raoh was warned of the plagues that would come to his people. But he never humbled himself to God. The Hebrews were protected from the plagues because they did the Lord's will.
The Bible never lies.
When you see the face of your first newborn child, then you will be certain that only a Loving God can create live.

Disease is a twisting of life. God created life. AND He created evil as well as good. Many Christians are uncomfortable with that, but it IS Scriptural. I don't believe Satan ever created any life form. He is a murdered and a liar. THOSE are his talents.

Satan is not a creator of life. Some Christians are naive. We want to believe that God in his infinite wisdom, wouldn't allow disease and famine. But if the world were perfect, why would you go to God. You wouldn't. The fact of the matter is we are saved because we need Him.

There are actually people who believe that Satan is a demigod who is the real god of this world rather than the cartoonish bad guy of the New Testament.

There is but one creator God. Satan is not a creator.
Interesting that these "Christians" would dare make Satan a god "besides" the One True God.

Death, disease, famine, etc are the consequences of sin.The devil did not create it.Adam and Eve can be awarded for bringing sin into the world. How?By doing what people still do today.Doing what is right in their own eyes, and following their own philosophies instead of turning to the very one that can save us which Christ Jesus.

You do not have to look far to see that evil and suffering abound. Wars kill civilians as well as soldiers. Because of this many ask themselves: "why is it that the wicked themselves keep living"? Many blame God and others wonder: "if God is so powerful, why doesn't he put an end to all suffering"?
The primary cause of wickedness is Satan the Devil. He brought wickedness into the world. Mankind in general obeys Satan by heeding his urgings to ignore the good ways of God. Clearly, God is not responsible for all the pain in suffering, on the contrary its his purpose to eliminate wickedness and those who cause it. God protects us like a tent would also. We all know that a tent does not stop the rain from falling or the wind from blowing, but it does protect us from such elements. Likewise, God helps us endure trials.
The Reason why he has permitted so much wickedness to exist for such a long time is related to a vital issue that was raised early in human history. Jehovah God created the first man and women, he gave them the opportunity to demonstrate their love for him. To remain in God's favor they only had to refrain from eating the fruit of a particular tree. As we all know that is were Satan asked Eve: "Is it really so that God said you must not eat from every tree of the garden"? Eve knew that God had not said every tree, but only one tree, the one in the middle. AS the devil kept enticing her to pursue the forbidden fruit telling her that her eyes would be opened and she would be like God, she gave into taking the fruit and eating it. That is were sinned entered into the world. Satan challenged God;s right to rule and because of this God allows suffering (ALLOWS not causes) so that the world can see that no human government can solve our problems....

Um... no devil isn't a god by using fact he replaced into created by using God.. and in fact replaced into God's maximum loved angel Lucifer... devil can't create he can in basic terms distort... and "evil" contained in the sense of "coming up evil" is the act of disobedience... Lucifer confirmed an act of disobedience whilst he grew to become prideful sufficient to have self assurance that he would desire to be God or extra effective than God.. that's what brought about him to fall and now he tries to reason others to disobey too by using an identical lies... Themightysloth: you're distorting words... once you're interpreting the Bible you should be attentive to the inflection of the writing... if it replaced into implied ANY the place contained in the Bible that devil is God then they could have capitalized god yet they did no longer... and you're no longer utilising the context appropriate... :/
