forgiveness will receive it, what about the Nazi's who threw children into pit's of petrol
and set it on fire.
And when the children tried to climb out they were shot, Jesus tells us not everyone will get to heaven. People who done all these horrible things had hearts of stone, and they don't suddenly turn into a sponge overnight when some Nazis think they are dying, I dont believe they get away with it. I believe they get punished for their evil deeds, do you think they get off scot free never.

what about the white americans who sold children and parents to different slave owners? what about slave owners who raped the women and sold their own children?

what about the genocide committed against the native americans?

no one ever thinks about the blacks and the native americans, and christianity was used to justify these atrocities.

Well, ultimately that's up to God, not to us.

The deeds that you describe are horrible indeed. It's hard to imagine how someone could do such a thing; thus, it's hard to imagine that someone who could do such a thing would repent. But who are we to say?

I agree that they wouldn't get off scot-free. That's why the Catholic Church teaches about Purgatory. Let's suppose that some Nazi soldier involved in such atrocities did repent. Would that mean that it would be as if the atrocities never happened? No, of course not. There is still a debt to pay, in justice, to God, even after death, if it isn't paid before. Hence, we teach a temporary place of purification in which a sinner can be purified of any remaining stain of sin before entering Heaven.

Please remember, though, that God desires the salvation of everyone. It would be to God's greater honor and glory if all people, including the Nazis, repented and were saved.

The bible says you reap what you sow. The wicked will pay for their deeds, yet if they ask for forgiveness they will be forgiven.
I love the fact that the bible covers every question you have because if you're wondering will people who do bad things be forgiven, then you'll know the answer is yes,-if they ask for forgiveness sincerely. Simple as that. Jesus asked God to forgive the very people who were mocking him spitting in his face, and piercing his side. I won't equate the method of killing to that of the innocent children you described but I will say, they were both murders of the innocent. People will be repaid for what they do but they can still be forgiven if they ask with a purely sincere heart through repentance.

For the bible says the only unforgivable sin is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." John 3:16. This promise (of eternal life) IS TO THOSE WHO BELIEVE IN JESUS. The forgiveness of sin comes AFTER REPENTANCE. God is not a fool. He has known from before the creation of humankind who would be his. Their names are written in the Book of Life.

Revelation 20 has a great deal to say on the subject of judgement. EVERYONE will be called to account - including those who have died. The Final Judgement will deal with the saved and the lost. Check out 2 Corinthians 5:10 - "We must all appear before the judgement seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due to him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad."

The Bible is very clear - we have one physical earthly life and after we die we answer to God for our thoughts and deeds. I think we can all safely trust God to do the right thing.

These are traumas and painful but still carnal considerations. You can tell by the actions of Nazi's that they weren't from God. What we can't see is inside a person that never uses profanity works faithfully but when they see a Muslim they seethe in silent hate. God has told us that these people are as guilty as the ones who physically do these things. We can train an animal to act nice but inside they're still animals. God wants us to stop being animals and become something that's moved by a higher motivation, unconditional love. Many that are lost behave well, but behavior isn't what salvation is about. Salvation is about enlightenment. It's empowerment.

Yet another inconsistency that should really be seen as a clear sign that religion is a man-made and entirely imperfect system.
If god existed then I really think he would have set up the whole belief system a bit better....unless he's just an incompetent dimwit when it comes to PR and communication!
Just like how most managed to ignore the change in rules about limbo. I imagine it went something like this: "What....a bit of our religion sounds a bit silly?" says the pope to his cardinals. "Well, it doesn't matter. It's all made up anyway, so lets just bin it. I bet no-one will notice...they're all too busy praying for stuff!"

i think the victims and families who were affected by that horrific time ..will choose or not to forgive ...in the spiritual realms there are many planes to progress ...as i believe in the karmic influence i don't doubt that the Nazi's have suffered on a personal level in their own lives and in their continual existence of the soul ...i don't feel that a "punishment " as we understand it ,will suffice in the spirit world .?.but i am sure that their journey wont be easy ones!!!.... forgiveness sets you free ...xxxx...

Jesus said a bad tree cannot bare good fruit,
as most Nazis were evil it proves they came from a bad tree. I think they will pay for their crimes, I don't think they will enter heaven.

Chris Koko-Limbo was never a dogma

Anyone who truely repents will be forgiven-but there is a debt to be paid first, or the sufferings of those in the Holocaust would be trivilized.

We are also promissed in the Bible that if anyone hurts the children, they will have to experience the rath of the children's angels, which is unbelievably great and horrible.
