My very own dog was one of my best friends ever, maybe the best for all I know. Always there for me.
I don't know about Jesus. The best I can say is a don't know, and I don't think about that kind of thing. I don't think of "Jesus" at all, doesn't mean that I'm shallow, atheist, nonbeliever.

I accepted Jesus as my best friend 10 years ago as a born-again Christian. No need for me to elaborate just read the Holy Bible.

I love my dogs as I would a child. But they can't die for my sins as Jesus did. You can't really compare them. It's like apples and oranges. Jesus is more than a mere Best Friend. He is also our Savior. But my dogs are my cutest little furball friends!
