Well, we have, but religion is even more man-made. At least science has facts on its side. Religion just feeds on human insecurities. Religion doesn't base its claims on any real observation.
This is yet another weak attempt by religion to justify its weak position. It's part of the argument, "So, you say god is man-made, but so is science", as if being man-made is really the issue. The real issue with religion is that is claims to be not man-made when it is. Science has always acknowledged its limitations because of human bias. Religion, on the other hand, claims that its human-made texts were divinely inspired. It's their claim of infallibility that is at issue, not science's reliance on human observation.

Yes. Science is a result of repeated observations and collected empirical evidence that are satisfactory methods of determining facts. On the other hand, Bible written by humans for humans, who have no questions to ask and need no prove to believe.

Actually, yes. I'd say that humans created the idea that repeated observations and empirical evidence are a satisfactory method of determining facts, because who else would have?
Science is still trustworthy though. I wonder if those people who don't trust human inventions have ever flown in a plane or used a computer.

I would assume that it means exactly what it says... Science is a man-made method of study. What's wrong with that? It's true. What could have introduced the method if it wasn't man....?
Certainly you aren't suggesting that the scientific method was a divine gift.....! LOL
Repeated observations and the collection of empirical evidence IS a satisfactory methods of determining facts, and it is a man-made convention.
God and divine cause, on the other hand, is no better than C R A P in a bag... it stinks!

Science is a method devised by men to best understand the world around them. The scientific method is defined as "a body of techniques for investigating phenomena and acquiring new knowledge, as well as for correcting and integrating previous knowledge." What makes it so effective is the "correcting and integrating" part. If another proven (tested) method is devised to better determine the physical properties of reality, then it would be integrated as well.

You are correct. Science is nothing more than careful observation combined with critical thinking. The world today is where it is because of science. Science advances the world. Look back during the Black Death back in Europe. Religion declared it to be the cause of evil demons or the sins of man. They recommended blessings and more praying to fix the job. Science came along and figured out it was caused by fleas from rats and that if we controlled the rat population thru sanitation then we would have a smaller chance of plague. Also, science worked and developed cures for plague. If we stuck with the religion approach, then the world would still be in the dark ages.

I don't think science is man-made. I think it came from God. The mystery of Science is a very large realm. I think it belongs to God as we observe science in his creation everyday. Even science has proven that the world was created from nothing to what we see today. Science and religion cannot be separated and they will not contradict.
We know because we did research and experiment. It is God who gave us those ideas. So, all credits should be given to Him. We would know nothing if it weren't for Him.

In a sense, everything is man made. Even natural things are labled, put in a book, and passed on. Do I have any definitive proof that New Zealand exists? No, but someone put it on a map, put it in a book, took a picture of it, gave it a name and says it's there. The only way I can really prove to myself that it is there is to physically go to the island. The only way to really prove anything is to do it yourself. The same way with God, evolution, or New Zealand. You have to decide who you are going to believe, that's why it's called faith.

Humans are good at lying...evolution is one of the biggest.
Scripture says God SPOKE all things into existence with His Word:
" By the Word of the Lord were the heavens created, and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.... For HE SPAKE AND IT WAS DONE; HE COMMANDED AND IT STOOD FAST". (psalm 33:6-9)
