Anthropologists have studied the occasions of Christ, and in that a part of the arena, it was normal to make a body oil out of cannabis. It was once part of cleaning rituals. There's reason to consider that He might have used it on this approach. Only in america in the last century has marijuana had this kind of stigma hooked up to it. It is a plant, consequently, giant Pharm corporations want to keep it unlawful. You are not able to overdose on it. God put the plant in the world for us to use. Folks have used it as medication for a very long time. But, of direction, most humans that learn the Bible will inform you that what I simply stated is complete crap and that i'm going to hell. However there is a ebook by way of Terrence McKenna called food of the Gods, concerning the hyperlink between mankind as we know it and altered states of realization. I don't smoke weed, but I believe it must be legalized. I have additionally learn the Bible. If which you could have an enlightened moment, then you are already ahead of the curve. Please be careful and accountable. It is still unlawful. Do not smoke and drive.

I thought that God gave man dominion over all the plants & animals in genesis...Unless the tree of life was really weed, instead of apples i would say that it is not a sin...But then again why isn't it a sin to eat apples?.But what do I know I am just a heathen

Not a sin, but it is illegal and remember "render unto Caesar that which is Caesar's".... We are to follow the laws of the land as well as God's Law.
Edit: Never said "I" was against weed. Personally I think it should be legalized. Far less dangerous to be fried than to be drunk (my opinion). My answer though is not my opinion it is a FACT. So, with that said, whoever can stick that thumbs down in your bong and smoke it.........

If one is going to maintain that it is a sin to smoke marijuana because it may be harmful to one's health, one must also maintain that it is absolutely a sin to smoke cigarettes because they are DEFINITELY harmful to one's heath and they are ADDICTIVE to boot.
The other problem, however, is that smoking marijuana is illegal, and there is a commandment to follow the laws of the country you are living in...

I was told that, and i actually looked it up...By the way, I am not christian though. I have no religion, but um- It is a sin b/c you are not supposed to get high or drunk b.c the only thing that is supposed to control u is Jesus/god whatever. And when u get drunk/high you are being controlled by a substance.

And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
- Luke 21:34
If it says not to be drunk do you really think Jesus thinks being high is ok?

What? You mean if you didn't smoke weed then you would be perfect?
If that's all it took then we wouldn't need Jesus. Of course, you might not think that you needed Jesus, so I guess that point would fall on deaf ears . . . . . or eyes.

We are temples of God, so WE are NOT our own...we belong to HIM..and so, anything that is derogatory to the body or mind is a sin, but if you have salvation...it will be ok, but YOU will have to answer to GOD when judgement day comes!!
