what's the weather like on Paris on november? what season is it there during those months?

we were wondering if anybody can help us with what to pack...

'coz the last time we went to China and googled the weather and they told us it was spring so we were thinking flowers and lots of sun but damn was it cold!! thank goodness we had enough sense to bring along some jackets just in case...

so what's Paris and neighboring places like on November? we haven't gotten the complete list of places we'd be going but we would like to be prepared..

thanks alot!!

Bring warm clothes.
It will be chilly at best.
But cold, windy and rain is also possible.
Bring at least a sweater, water-proof coat and maybe an umbrella.

Europe north of the Mediterranean will be well into autumn, and can be rainy, sometimes it can even snow and freeze in November, although that is more likely in the mountains than in Paris.
Fog for most of the day is also possible.

Days will be short, getting dark around 4 or 5, not getting fully light till 9 the next morning. So even when it is sunny, the sun will not have much time to warm things up.

That said, November can still have some nice days, and you might be able to walk around in sweaters most of the day.
If you get all the way to the south of France you can expect some warmer weather, but still bring sweaters, wind proof coats and rain gear.

I would like to say none because you will find so so many nice clothes to buy there. It will be slightly cold but you may just get some climpse of sunshine so shirts but a light sweater over the top, i.e items that you can take off and put back on at ease, you may need a rain coat.

Have a very great time, enjoy the food and all the lovely clothes and tourist attractions, p.s take plently of money because it can be quite expensive.

I would bring warm layers of clothing. I went in April and I was thankful for my winter jacket. I would think it would dip into the mid 40's at times. Go to www.lonelyplanet.com to get temperature fluctuations.

generally wet, slightly chilly... assume 5°C interior the morning, around 10°C interior the day... Snow is conceivable, yet no longer typical. the days are truly short, between 8am to 6pm... on account which you will no longer spend your day exterior, I recommand rain outfits, no longer choose for terribly heat outfits, places of work and shops have heating structures... in case you are able to gown casual, do no longer forget enormous shoes... they are going to save your ft dry and heat ;))
