wean from the bottle a one year old needs a cup not a bottle.
a one year old eats what ever you do, just give one or two cups of whole milk a day and wash the cups with hot water and soap you will have a sink in your room

You should be weaning your one year old off the bottle. My son is almost 13 mo and we have him down to the nighttime bottle and plan to cut that out within the next week. If you can get him down to the nighttime bottle then you will be in much better shape. I would buy some dish detergent when you get into town to clean bottles and sippy cups in the sink - the take and toss cups are pretty inexpensive, hold up well, and much easier to clean because they don't have a lot of parts like other sippies.

Also bring lots of snacks - Kix, graham crackers, etc... If your hotel room has a mini-fridge that will help. Also expect battles at bedtime - we had a really hard time getting our kids to sleep because the routine is off. Good luck!

What I used to do is bring about 2 or 3 bottles and a cooler to hold a half gallon or a gallon of milk in. At the hotel we filled the cooler with ice and that way the milk wouldn't spoil. (if we didn't have a refrigerator) I would find out a head of time if they did. Then I would pack a bottle brush and some dish washing soap and simply wash them in the bathroom and let them air dry. how many bottles a day depends on how often you give it to your child. I did like 2 a day mainly during naps and before bed. Good luck!! and have fun!!
