human adults do not need milk. our society has been brainwashed by the government and multi-billion dollar dairy industry into thinking that we "need" milk to be healthy, that couldn't be any further from the truth

No, it doesn't.

Well, it depends on how you look at it.

Human milk is awesome for human babies. It is designed for it.

If you compare cow's milk to human milk, the composition is totally different. Cow's milk is made for baby cows.

Then after you pasteurize and homogenize it, cow's milk becomes even more useless because you have now destroyed any of the enzymes that might have been helpful and you have broken apart the fat molecules that would have otherwise not entered the blood stream and just moved through the bowels.

In spite of what the brainwashed masses say, there are no benefits to drinking milk that are not found more effectively from other sources.

Fact: The top five milk-consuming countries in the world also have the five highest rates of osteoporosis.

Milk is NOT a good net-source of calcium because there's a protein in milk that inhibits your body from absorbing it all.

P.S. I grew up around dairy farms. I occasionally drank raw milk and never got sick because the udders weren't covered in poo when we milked the cows. The same can't be said for industrial dairies (at least not all of them). I do enjoy a latte now and then and I do not like the taste of soy milk lattes so yes, I do (rarely) consume dairy. I just have shaken off the utter lie (pun intended) that "milk does the body good."

Yes drinking milk is good for you. It is an excellent source of calcium which help builds strong bones and teeth. When you enter your elderly years you can get osteoporosis if you do not get enough calcium. If you do not know what osteoporosis is, it is when your bones become weak and brittle and they break very easily.

Sure, milk does a body good. Unless you're Alexa. Then not so much...

Yeah, sure it does. It's got plenty of calcium for strong bones, and protein for muscle. You can't go wrong with milk, unless you're always drinking whole milk.

absolutely! milk stengthens your bones(esp for women), good for you teeth, and skin. milk also prevents osteoporosis. my gran omitted milk from her diet during her good ol' days because she thought it was what was causing too much weight gain. well, currently she is suffering from osteoporosis and curses herself frequently for making such an unwise decision.

your body needs calcium. especially if you are young, when your bones are still growing.

i have a few friends who have suffered broken bones in adulthood because they didn't get the proper nutrients when growing.
