We have been together for almost two years and have a good laugh together and he loves me and understands me betetr than anyone ever will but something is missing. I think its the passion..he is like a best friend. We have sex often and he enjoys it but its not like random exciting sex. We are like best friends and I know he is an amazing man but I dont love him like I used to. He is quite femminie and it drivesme crazy, I like a mans man and rough. How do I end it with him without cheating.?? we never argue and I dont want to leave being a cow.. i want him to know he is great but just not for me.. he thinks we are going to be together forever. i dont want to hurt him!!

Blame yourself.. that you're becoming a different person.. and that you're not ready, etc. -- in fact... listen to an OLD song. Linda Ronstadt's "Different Drum" -- it's the perfect song/lyrics for a young woman to break-up with a man.
Don't worry about breaking his heart -- because if he really wanted you he would have already proposed & starting planning a life together (like he'll SAY, as men do when they realize they have LOST and can't have, and something is taken away). You're doing the right thing.
You're driven by sex anyway, it seems. And he's not up to the tasks, is too fem, doesn't take control (and you, the way other men can, and will). and he's probably not too funny or interesting either, otherwise you wouldn't be here.

You can't, so be honest, and get out now because the longer you are together the more it will hurt him.
By the way, the passion disappears in EVERY relationship after a time. Love is a choice. If he is so great in every other way, you would be crazy to chuck him for this one reason. Especially if the sex used to be great at first. That means you could rekindle the flame if you really wanted to. No one you meet is going to be perfect in every respect. He might be effiminate and the next one might be rough and tough, but irresponsible or something else.
You have got to decided what is most important to you in a relationship. Prioritize, look for the important things, and overlook the rest.

There is no way to do it without someone getting hurt. Actually it will hurt you both alot. If it's really what you think is best for you, then you need to just tell him the truth. I don't know about telling him he's feminine though. You might want to leave that part out.
In the end, if you aren't happy, and you don't think it's going to work, it will only get worse if you stay to keep his feelings from getting hurt. You are friends and I'm sure you care about him, but it the end, you have to live you're life, and don't you want it to be a happy one?

boy, are we partly in the same situation.. or at least i think mine is going to end up in there... unless a miracle happens which i hope there is because he's a great guy too...
anyways, since you're bestfriends, just talk to him sincerely. i think telling him exactly how you feel is the best way. hopefully, he will understand. it might be awkward for you guys, especially, for him, to see each other right after. it will take time to heal, but hopefully, you're friendship will still be there.

You will hurt him no matter what you do. The guy loves you and you're dumping him. How can he not hurt. Be as kind as you can, but know that he will be crushed.
