have tinnitus with high pitch sound in head. Have for a month. has anyone had this where it went away?

Sometimes people get short-term tinnitus like you've described as a symptom of a virus. I've had mine since I was 5 at least (that's about as far back as I can remember). I'm almost 32. If yours went away, be thankful!

Yes .
Mine will come and go ---unfortunately it is with me most of the time .
It may be a a warning that you are loosing some hearing , or have a stressed out nerve in your neck or jaw ---time to see the Doc.

It will almost always go away if it was caused by a concussion.
