Any bird is edible if it is cooked right, but why would you want to,
unless you are stranded on an island with nothing else to eat.

They are edible , if that's what you mean. People stranded in lifeboats have eaten them for centuries. After Captain Bligh was set adrift by the crew of the Bounty he had his men catch seagulls with the sail of the small boat. The blood was given to the sick while the healthy ate the meat. He was hailed as a hero for sailing his small craft all the way from the south pacific clear back to safety!!

That being said, seagull tastes very fishy, and is at best unappealing.

Yes, you could eat a seagull, but you would be advised to cook it well done.

Acually in some contrys they do eat this kind of bird but over here its not reccomended. They are wild animals and dont think you would find many bread inland. They may carry many things including desises.

Aboriginal people in australia have their right to eat seabird enshrined in law.
The population of St Kilda ate seabirds but it is thought that this caused many problems due to Chromium poisoning.

Not a bad question, but the real question is "Why would anyone want to?"

They eat a lot of rotten stuff, so why anyone might want to gulp one down is beyond me.

Oh, to ANSWER...I guess you can eat anything you can catch.

I wouldn't suggest it........

They eat fish so guess what their flesh will taste like.

Years ago they used to feed mass produced chickens with fish meal instead of grain. These chickens were awful, tasted fishy. Eventually this practice was stopped because
no one would buy the fishy-chicken.
