The bible tells us in Joshua 1 : 8 to read the bible , " day and night."
I would just love to know if there are any out there that actually DO read the bible every day.

I love the Bible, and Bible questions.
Although there is much negativity on this forum, the Bible haters actually benefit those of us interested in spreading Bible truth.
How? Because they give us a chance to peer into their thinking, and prepare ways to answer effectively in the ministry.

Yes, I am a serious student of the Bible and I do read the Bible every day. During the day, I read portions of it in answering questions here in Yahoo! Answers - Religion & Spirituality. If I am not at Y!A - R & S, then I can do some scripture reading on my own during my study of Bible based publications.

Every night before I sleep, I read one or two chapters in the Bible. This is part of me now. I started this regular activity from September 1998 up to present. By the power of Almighty Jehovah God, I am making all efforts to continue to learn from the Word of God by daily regular Bible reading.—Psalm 1:1-3.

Yes, I do. We are in a course of study of the bible. We start in the beginning and read so many chapters a week.
this week it is Ezekiel 32-34
Last week was Ezekiel 28-31 It told about the king of Tyre and then it went into the cherub in the garden of eden.
I think it was trying to tell us that Satan becomes the ruler in these kingdoms of the world. His lust for power and prominience is still alive and well.
Revelation 12:7 shows he can no longer go back into heaven after the war he was thrown out of heaven. Down to this earth.
We have went through the bible many times during my life.
a few chapters aweek and then we discuss it and how it fits with the other scriptures on that subject.
I mean he king of Tyre was never a cherub or in the garden of Eden. So we know that refers to Satan.
So divideing the chapters up 4 chapters in 7 days. a little over one a day would keep you up to date. By doing it slow and taking time and discussing it you know the bible by the time you finish down to the end. Then start over!
Do that say 100 times and you don't forget what it says.

Yes I do read it almost every day...I do research for the meetings and I look up scriptures for Yahoo answers. I find the meaning of names and background behind Bible characters in the 'Aid to Bible Understanding Book' and 'Insight Books'. I look in the 'Reasoning from the Scriptures' to help explain to others what they want to know.

The thorough study Jehovah's Witnesses have helps them to preach and teach the Truth of God's word. For if we didn't know what was in the Bible we couldn't teach it.

I have a very busy schedule, but I do read the Bible when I have Questions or when I do Bible-Studies with my Jehovah's Witnesses Friends.
