GOD I DO HOPE the MMA starts incorporating better boxing skills.
I have to kind of disagree with Manny Pac. Primarily because Manny Pac is a forward moving puncher, and in the MMA you can walk forward into a kick in the mouth or worse, a clinch.
The best boxing style I could recomment that would compliment your MMA would be outside boxing. Being able to score while moving your feet....learning lateral movement. Once you get too close and get to grappling range...boxing will be out the window anyway.
Great outside boxers that could move laterally:
Muhammad Ali
Sugar Ray Robinson
Sugar Ray Leonard
Nowadays: Paul Williams
If you want to sharpen up your compact fighting skills (short blows because of being in a confined space) Miguel Cotto wouldnt be a bad idea either.

Pretty Boy Floyd Mayweather is the pound for pound best in boxing right now. He's great to watch but it might be a little boring for someone who's coming over from MMA. He's a defensive fighter, counterpuncher and not a slugger. He fights on Dec. 8 against rickky hatton if you're interested in watching him.
For someone coming from MMA, I suggest watching Manny Pacquiao. He's aggressive, quick, and suprisingly strong for a guy as little as him. He fights October 6 against Marco Antonio Barerra.
Also try going back and watching some old fights. You can find some on the internet. Fighters to watch: Ali, Joe Frazier, mike tyson, Julio cesar chavez, hector camacho, winky wright.
One thing you can do, check out "The Ring" magazine. Look for the top fighters listed in there, or look for who had the fight of the year or the nominees. Those are always good fights to watch. For instance: Diego Corrales vs Jose Luis Castillo (first fight). Crazy slugfest.
Good luck.

You're into MMA? Then I guess you want to add boxing to your arsenal. If that is the case, then you need to watch Tommy "The Hitman" Hearns fight. His jab alone would be a valuable addition to your MMA arsenal, not to mention his devastating right. Watching any of his fights is like watching a boxing school in session.
